About Me

I fell in love with mother nature and started exploring what this world has to offer since a very young age and was lucky enough to experience the beauty of himalayas for the first time when I was 10 yrs old. I have been part of the following trips in Himalayas.

1995 – Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal
1996 – Member of expedition to Kang Yisay (6400m),Ladakh, India reached 19k ft.
1997 – Pindari Glacier Trek, Indian Himalayas
1999 – Gangotri Glacier Trek, Indian Himalayas
2005 – Attempted Stok Kangri (6,153 m), Ladakh, India reached 20k ft.

After moving to USA in 2003, my love for the outdoors has grown a whole lot and i have gotten into Scuba diving and Skiing. This blog is an attempt for me to share my adventures with everyone and hopefully inspire some people to have their own.

2011 – Successfully climbed Mt Baker (Coleman glacier route) and Mt Rainier (Kautz Glacier route). 10 day mountaineering course with Alpine Ascents International.
2012 – Successfully climbed Mt Shasta (Avalanche Gulch route)
2013 – Attempted Denali, reached 17k summit camp, guided expedition with Alpine Ascents International.

2015 – AIARE I avalanche course completed.

2016 – 4 day Sawtooth’s Traverse and 4 Day Mt Ritter Ski tour with Sierra Mountain Guides. Total 50+ days of Skiing in the Season.

2012 – Successfully climbed/skied Mt Shasta (Hotlam Bolam Ridge route)

2010 – present, Skiing over 30 days each year at Mammoth Mountain and other resorts.

2008 – present, Over 450 logged Scuba dives.

Other than that I hike, backpack regularly and hoping to get more into rock climbing.
